Your contributions is really used for the intended purpose
People who support farmers on the Central Plateau via Terra-Verde can be
sure that their contribution is used efficiently. Information is provided on
our homepage. When taking over sponsorships you are sent individual donation
reports.
Internal and external controlling
The farmers’ organization ALCD and all the other organizations in
Burkina Faso supported by our organization are obliged to keep commercial
books of account and to prepare financial statements at the end of each
month for controlling purposes. Regular inspections are carried out by us in
the course of which we check the amount and the quality of the built stone
walls. The annual financial statements are set up by independent auditors.
Voluntary evaluation by the DZI (German Central Institute for Social
Matters)
The “Deutsche Zentralinstitut für Soziale Fragen (DZI)” (German Central
Institute for Social Matters) with its headquarters in Berlin grants a
donation seal. This seal guarantees that the activities of the respective
organization are reliable and trustworthy. The sponsoring association
Terra-Verde e.V. obliges itself to receive this seal at the latest after the
second operational year. Right from the beginning Terra-Verde will operate
in accordance with the DZI regulations.
